French club, Nantes have opened official talks with Mbwana Samatta and TP Mazembe over securing his signature.
According to one of Samatta’s representatives Nantes are in talks with the Congolese club and the player’s representatives over signing him before 20th January.
The Ligue One club are also holding talks with Samatta’s representatives to reach an agreement over personal terms.
The 2015 African Player of the year based in Africa has also attracted solid interests from Genk and Standard Liege. In a QnA organised by Soka360 in October, the Tanzanian international striker said he would prefer to play his football in France next season
