RIO FERDINAND WA MAN UNITED AMPONDA KOCHA WAO MPYA DAVID MOYES LIVE

Rio Ferdinand has broken his silence over the Manchester United crisis blaming Moyes for his team selection process policy which he says has played in United's poor performance.
Moyes, who is on the ropes at Old Trafford following their midweek defeat to Everton, was picked out by Ferdinand over his decision to name the team just before kick-off on a match day.
Sir Alex Ferguson always opted to say who would be playing before matches, but Moyes only lets players know as late as possible, much to the frustration of Ferdinand.
‘This manager’s a bit different in that he doesn’t name the team beforehand,’ Ferdinand told BT Sport.

‘You don’t really get to know the team. The old manager used to give you a little bit of an idea if you’d be playing and stuff.
‘When you know you’re playing, the intensity goes up a little bit more on match day. That’s what you need to try to make sure you’re doing, even if you don’t know you’ll be playing – to try to get to that intensity you’d be at when you know you’re playing.’
Ferdinand says it’s impossible to get up for games, and that the late team announcements fill the players with a ‘nervous energy’.
‘It’s hard,’ he continued.
‘It’s hard to do that mentally because you spend a lot of nervous energy thinking: “Am I playing” or “Am I not playing?” and you’re just going round in circles in your head and turning into a madman.’
