MFAHAMU DR.KITILA MKUMBO:
A Psychology doctorate degree holder of the University of Southampton, UK, Dr. Kitila Mkumbo is currently Lecturer and
Head of the Department of Educational Psychology and Curriculum Studies, School of Education, University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Formerly, Dr Mkumbo has served the University of Dar es Salaam in the capacity of Administrative Officer having been President of the Students Organization (DARUSO) when he was in his undergraduate studies (1998 -1999). He has researched and published widely in the areas of Educational Psychology, in particular focusing on Young Persons’ behaviours and attitudes. Interms of memberships, Dr Mkumbo is a member of various professional Associations including Tanzanian Psychological Association (TAPA) as Secretary General; Tanzania Public Health Association (TPHA); World Association for Sexual Health (WAS); African Federation for Sexual Health (AFSH) and Society for Social Psychology Study of Social Issues (SSSI).
