Although Villa Rosa Kempinski’s
management has declined to confirm or deny whether President Barrack Obama
stayed their facility, sources indicated that Obama slept at the hotel’s Presidential
Suit during the entire period he was in the country.
A reliable source says that Obama had four meals
at the hotel including dinner with his family. His chef worked with local chefs
to prepare Obama some Ugali, Terere
and Fish sourced straight from Lake
Victoria.
The room Obama spent cost the US Government a
whooping Sh. 1.5 million per night;
“The
rates at the presidential suite vary depending on whether you are billing an
individual, a corporate or the government. But its roughly 15,000 (Sh1.5
million) dollars a night,”
